Highest ranking politician takes on the UFO/ET issue

The Rt. Hon. Paul T. Hellyer

Toronto - [ZNN] The Right Honourable Paul T. Hellyer is the highest ranking politician to take on the UFO/ET issue. After serving as Canadian Minister of National Defence and Deputy Prime Minister, Mr. Hellyer has become an icon in Canadian politics.

ZlandCommunications wishes to reiterate and support the appeal by PRG Executive Director Stephen G. Bassett to invite interviews with the Rt. Hon. Paul T. Hellyer by media.

In his appeal to the world-wide media, AM and FM radio programs and internet podcast hosts and producers Bassett stated, "The Honourable Paul Hellyer is the highest ranking politician to take the UFO/ET issue head on with statements of direct confirmation."

Bassett also said, "In recent years Mr. Hellyer has become interested in the extraterrestrial presence and their superior technology that we have been emulating. In September 2005 he became the first person of cabinet rank in the G8 group of countries to state unequivocally 'UFO's are as real as the airplanes flying overhead."

A spokesperson for ZlandCommunications said, "Mr. Hellyer has taken a bold stand on this matter. His engaging and knowledgeable style is a blend of journalistic professionalism and political incisiveness on the most exigent and controversial issue of our modern times - one which most politicians are loathed to address.'"

PRG's full release concerning this matter, including a brief bio on Mr. Hellyer is available upon request.

Before and following his historic address in Toronto in 2005, Mr. Hellyer appeared on a number of television and radio programs including CBC radio's Here and Now and MSNBC TV.
