Global Research Organization seeks clarity on the presence of Extraterrestrial Intelligence
Toronto, Canada [ZNN] ZlandCommunications has learned about the recent formation of a progressive research group designed to address some of the more fundamental aspects of the UFO/ET issue.

Since its inception Glexo - the Global Exopolitics Organization - has published several controversial position papers calling for information and research to be based on verifiable evidence rather than speculation or conjecture.
Founding members – all of whom have extensive qualifications and experience in research, journalism, anthropology, law and media relations – represent countries throughout Europe, Africa, South America, North America and the Orient.
As stated in its Mission Statement, Glexo, the Global Exopolitics Organization, is a not for profit organization that is dedicated to the study, promotion and support of exopolitics in a factual, professional, reliable and scientific manner.”
Some interesting questions are raised by Glexo

  • How deep is humanity’s understanding of the many implications of the discovery and presence of extraterrestrial intelligence on Earth?
  • How complete is humanity’s perception of this presence and how much of its complexity can we truly embrace?
Of real interest is Glexo’s political, cultural and scientific perspective about contact with off-world civilizations.
As stated on its web site, Glexo has clearly articulated several astute challenges to the Exopolitics research community.
One of these challenges states:
“We need to start preparing for a post-contact world. We also will need an organized political response to the ET presence; i.e., we need to start working on exodiplomacy. All of this also entails that we are dealing with a new scientific paradigm for which we will have to develop new concepts and a new vocabulary, new scientific methodologies and experimental practices.”
Journalists seeking more information on Glexo are invited to contact ZNN or use the contact link on Glexo's web site.

  1. CONFIRMATION: How are we as individuals, politicians, advisers, scientists, religious leaders, societies at large going to process in a healthy and rational way the public confirmation of an extraterrestrial presence?

INFORMATION: Will we find the best information available about extraterrestrials circulating in the internet or be confused by exaggerations, falsehoods and distortions?

Will the military be the only or best reliable source of information people will have to trust? Will contactees/"experiencers" be useful to establish a peaceful relationship with extraterrestrials? Will our sciences and cultures adapt to beings that are physical but which can operate outside of the physical domain modifying spacetime and other physical factors?

ADAPTATION: Will we tend to over-emphasize the threat aspect, projecting human expectations? Can we adapt to the challenge overcoming simplistic, short-term, binary, adversarial (ape-like) thinking?

PARADIGM/WORLDVIEW SHIFT: While finding ways to rationally connect different truths, how should our cultures and basic concepts expand and become more complete and able to handle the principles of advanced civilizations that are freer from the constraints of spacetime? Can we scientifically admit a fundamental role for consciousness and psychic phenomena in a world made of instantly interconnected information?

POLICY: Can extraterrestrial vehicles be not only confirmed publicly in an official manner but also be granted some kind of legal, international permission or public acceptance to continue manifesting or travelling around in our national territorial skies as they have been already doing since apparently before the existence of modern nations?

POLICY: What legal recognition and rights can we assign extraterrestrial beings?

POLICY: Who represents the Earth or humanity?

WE NEED A BALANCED; EVIDENCED-BASED, RATIONAL EXOPOLITICS to consider these and many more implications of an EXTRATERRESTRIAL PRESENCE.

  2. Is it too much to hope that some group comprised of representatives from various world governments already exists and has been considering these points for many decades? If all we think we know about ET visitation to this planet is true, some such entity must already exist. This would have been a very long time to have been completely ignoring any semblance of preparation for Contact.
