UAP issue now deeply embedded in US National Security apparatus.
Press Release
For Immediate Distribution
Toronto [ZNN] The recent June 25, 2021 release of the Preliminary Assessment: Unidentified Aerial Phenomena by the Office of the US Director of National Intelligence has created reverberations throughout the global mainstream media. The report has also lead some very determined and experienced UAP analysts and organizations to burrow deeper and through the 'news' cycle and into the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI).
One of those analysts is the prolific John Greenwald of The Black Vault. Greenwald's incessant determination to uncover all aspects of the UAP phenomenon has earned him the notoriety of being the leading Freedom of Information Request research expert in the USA - if not globally.
This time, Greenwald has unearthed information indicating the Office of the Director of National Intelligence is set to further update Congress on the Preliminary Assessment on UAP as directed by the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence in 90 days.
Despite the general let-down among the UAP research community at large, Greenwald's assessment is that the initial release by the ODNI on June 25 has created a call to action by the US Department of Defence.
As an indication of how deeply this information on UAP has now become imbedded in the American National Security Apparatus - a source reported to ZNN that some 18 different US military and intelligence agencies are now involved in the tasking and the examination of UAP data and collection procedures.
"ONDIUAPTF (Office of the National Director of Intelligence) and the ODNI National Intelligence Manager for Aviation drafted this report, with input from USD(I&S), DIA, FBI, NRO, NGA, NSA, Air Force, Army, Navy, Navy/ONI, DARPA, FAA, NOAA, ODNI/NIM-Emerging and Disruptive Technology, ODNI/National Counterintelligence and Security Center, and ODNI/National Intelligence Council."
Since this attribution of assignments to this many agencies has never occurred before - it is an indicator the US government, through the Pentagon - is responding to public and media pressure for more information by ramping up internal procedures.
US DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE REACTS SWIFTLY
In another major related development - Ms. Kathleen Hicks, Deputy Secretary of Defense issued a same-day memo to Pentagon Senior Leadership to reset how US military agencies are to work in concert with regard to the UAP matter.
International media and organizations also responded quickly to how the US Department of Defence has recalibrated its procedures on UAP. One such international organization, ICER, with headquarters in London England and Lisbon Portugal - is preparing for this new narrative.
Gary Heseltine, the Vice President of the International Coalition for Extraterrestrial Research (ICER) - told ZNN:
"The memorandum that was released shortly after the DNI report, signed by Kathleen Hicks, the Deputy Secretary of Defense, is an historic document because it requires all the US military i.e., Navy, Army and Air force to all work together in a formalised way and for them to pass details of future UAP events to the Task Force or whatever body is set up to replace it within 14 days."
Mr. Heseltine went on to say:
"This document is highly significant in my view and represents a sea change in the attitudes of the US authorities to this subject. It appears that for the first time in US history, at least publicly, that they are going to finally treat the UFO/UAP topic seriously. It is long overdue but nevertheless a welcome change of direction."
The process of public and media education on this critically significant issue is on-going. Readers are encouraged to review Greenwald's work and that of his sources in his posting of June 30, 2021.
