Critical Govt Transparency Legislation Jeopardized By A Powerful Few In Congress
The Schumer-Rounds Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena Disclosure Act is imperiled
by a powerful few in the House and Senate.
Daniel P. Sheehan |
“The time for excuses, opaqueness, and coverups is over. Congress can’t justify continued secrecy for fear of embarrassing the Pentagon. Congress surely can’t say the time isn’t right. The public has waited decades for the truth. If not now, when? The public deserves an honest and transparent government. Now is the time for Sen. McConnell and Reps. Johnson, Rogers, and Turner to do what’s right and vote in favor of the UAPDA.” Daniel P. Sheehan Founder of the New Paradigm Institute
ZNN COMMENTARY
The Schumer-Rounds Amendment is not only directly significant to the cause of UAP transparency - there is an added meaning few have considered. If the UAP Disclosure Act (UAPDA) Amendment is passed and signed by the President it will trigger a sea-change in U.S. politics.
The consequence?
This could very well be a signal to the Biden administration to include the nine member oversight REVIEW BORAD under the jurisdiction of the President and other skillfully crafted provisions within the UAP Disclosure Act as part of the Biden 2024 re-election campaign strategy.
To what advantage? Requiring full UAP transparency by the Pentagon, intelligence agencies and several U.S. corporations - purportedly in possession of UAP artifacts - is indeed within the appetite of an American public frustrated by secrecy - at all levels. This could be a reason why some influential Republicans are opposing the Schumer-Rounds Amendment - not necessarily because of the Act itself - but because it could eventually cost them the majority in both the Senate and the House of Representatives. Chuck Schumer and Mike Rounds knew this well in-advance of their proposal.
The UAP matter is now officially imbedded in the political process for all to see and hear.
One question remains - will U.S. mainstream media corporate offices writ large continue to writhe and squirm to mindlessly avoid what is transpiring in Congress before everyone’s eyes and ears or, will they decide to engage the biggest story they will ever network to the world?
