Toronto [ZNN] The issue of Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena, commonly referred to as UFOs, has captured the interest and imagination of the general public for decades.
Canada's 9500 UFO files in Library and Archives Canada demonstrate Canada's complex UFO history dating back to 1952.
The manner in which this rich history has been unacknowledged by government reveals how the UFO matter has been sequestered from the Canadian people for too long.
It is now time to end this secrecy.
A Distinctly Canadian Initiative
Canadians for Disclosure (CfD) is a national, non-partisan group of advocates, researchers, and concerned citizens committed to ending secrecy, advancing awareness, transparency, and public discourse around Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) in Canada.

CfD's mandate is simple:
- Foster collaboration among UAP-related organizations and leaders,
- Amplify Canadian voices in the global disclosure movement, and,
- Advocate for formal recognition, study, and transparency from Canadian institutions.
Main Goal of CfD
The main strategic goal of Canadians for Disclosure (CfD) is to inform, educate and engage all Canadian Members of Parliament, the Media and the General Public about the Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena. Members of Parliament remain our only voice in the House of Commons.
Why this and Why Now?
Several facts about UAP must be addressed:
- Although Canada has a long history of involvement in the UFO/UAP issue, the Canadian government has remained virtually silent on UFOs.
- According to Elections Canada, the agency that oversees Canadian Elections, there are 343 Members of Parliament in the House of Commons. These members remain uninformed about UAP.
- ZNN has been in communication with MPs, their Parliamentary Assistants and the media on Parliament Hill. These communications reveal one startling conclusion; 98% of Canadian MPs have no knowledge whatsoever about Canada's historical or current involvement with the UFO matter. - Established oversight investigative committees in their Senate and House of Representatives regarding UAP/UFOs,
- Held multiple Congressional Hearings since 2021 at which former military and intelligence witnesses have given testimony about their direct contact with and retrieval of UFO artifacts and alien bodies,
- Released, through the U.S. Pentagon, multiple previously classified videos of U.S. Navy pilot direct encounters with UAP,
- Held public press conferences on UAP,
- Passed elaborate and comprehensive Senate legislation sponsored by Senator Chuck Schumer (Dem. NY) and Senator Mike Rounds (Dem. SD) outlining criteria and timelines for the public release of all UFO data since 1952,
- Passed legislation establishing a nine member Presidential Review Board to review the release of UFO/UAP data to the public.
