Alien revelations could spark a global financial crisis
As first reported in the Times of London on January 16, 2026, the article, “Bank of England must plan for financial crisis sparked by aliens” has taken root in US and UK media.
Reports have also been republished by Newsweek, the UK Independent, New York Post and other news outlets, most notable of which is the UK’s influential International Business Times.

"The UAP subject clearly holds enormous public interest. If UAP prove not to be designed by human beings, then we are dealing with unprecedented issues of existential consequence for humanity. We would have to acknowledge the existence and terrestrial presence of a techno-logically advanced non-human intelligence. Humanity would enter a new paradigm of greater significance than even the Copernican Revolution."
In a brief interview with ZNN McCaw said: "Very few if any officials in the Bank of England or elected officials in the UK government take the UAP subject seriously. During my tenure at the Bank of England, I wrote these kind of reports all the time; they were always taken seriously. I trust this one will be taken seriously also.”

TWO OF McCAW’S MANY REVELATIONS
- Canadian UAP Study The Sky Canada Project
- US Pentagon's Briefing of the Five Eyes Alliance on UAP . [The Five Eyes intelligence alliance is composed of the US, the UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand was briefed on the UAP topic in May of 2023. [NB. The Canadian government has yet to acknowledge that officials from the government's defence department attended these briefings.]
- If a major G7 country were to officially confirm the existence of alien life, the global reaction would likely be a psychological and political first. Global Markets would respond immediately. Given Canada’s Prime Minister, Mark Carney’s unique background as former Governor of the Bank of England and former Chair of the G20 Financial Stability Board, the implications for him would be dramatic — and in many ways, uniquely suited to his experience.
- Governor of Canada Tiff Macklem would likely follow Carney’s lead. Based on his history as a calm communicator, like Prime Minister Carney, Macklem’s public messaging would avoid speculation and focus strictly on reassuring Canadians about Canada’s financial stability.
